Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report s —We offered to-day 50 bales wool and 3500 sheep skins. Several new operators in sheep skins put in an appearance at the sale, and competition was very brisk. Good crossbred skins advanced id per lb, fine skins id, and dead skins id. Crntchings advanced id, and any superior lots reached 3id per lb. We quote:—Merino skins, fid to yd; fiae crossbreds, sid to fid; medium crossbreds, 4sd to sd; short wools, 3id to 4id; dead skins, 3d to 4d: lamb skins, 4Jd to sd. Wellington, 19th Juns, 1903.
