The Cape Premier, (Sir Gordon Sprigg), speaking in the Assembly, said that Sir Georgo Farrar, of the Transvaal Legislature, had stated that the Customs 'onvention, the abolition or transit dues, and the reduction of railway freights would save the Transvaal a million a year.
