Foxton Cycling Club.
The meeting to form a Cycling Club in Foxton was held at Haywood’s Hotel on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance, and it was decided to form a Club. Sixteen members joined, with every likelihood of a good many more. It was also decided to hold a sports gathering in connection with the Club on 17th March, 1904. After other business had been transacted it was decided that another meeting should be held at Haywood’s Hotel on Monday, 21st June. A vote of thanks to the chair and to Mr Haywood for the use of the room concluded the meeting.
