Mr Seddon, Premier of New Zealand, has sent the following cable message to the “ Daily Express "•
<( The Government propone to buy meat and brand and ship it to its Comraissionsr in. the United Kingdom, where it will establish emporiums in the big manufacturing centres, selling at cost price/* The “Express" stateethaAtha first shops will be opened at Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow. The newspaper expresses a'hop* that this bold experiment will command ' sympathy, and dissipate the opposition of meat “ rings," cad the ignorant prejudices of the public.
