Shooting.
SHANNON RIFLE CLUB v. FOX TON RIFLES.
Yesterday morning the Shannon team journeyed to Foxton to shoot the fiial. match with the Foxton Rifles—each team having a match to its credit. The conditioas were twelve men a side, and the ranges aoo, 300 and 500 yards, seven shots at each range. The teams were favoured with a good day for shooting, and the visitors after a well fought battle proved victorious by 3a points. The local team provided a substantial lunch, which was partaken of at the range. Following are the individual scores of both teams : Shannon Rifle Club.
