Arltunga Goldfields.
A Victorian mining expert who has returned from a visit to the Arltunga goldfields sweepingly condemns the field. There is, he says, no show either at Arltunga or White Hills for a company to handle bunches of claims. Stone tapering out as it goes down could be seen in ravines The colour of gold is on top, but down below the stone is worth nothing.
