The block in question adjoins the Union Bank of Australia, and has two buildings upon it—the “Strand Cafe” and the office of Mr A. Bate, commission agent. This property has been purchased from tjie Rhodes estate by Mr Fred Barrow, manager of the Bradford Woollen Company, and the price, £270 per foot, is the highest yet paid for a Jjambton quay frontage.
