Longshoremen on strike at Montreal attacked nen-unionists, shoot-
ing one. They then set fire to the cargo on one of the steamers of the Leyland line, which was lying at the wharf, thereby endangering the Canadian Pacific Railway Company’s grain elevators. The fire on the steamer was extinguished.Six arrests were made.
