MUNICIPAL ELECTION.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE MANAWATIT HERALD. Sir, —As there are such a number of candidates for the election, would it not be wise on tße part of th 6 candidates themselves to call a public meeting and ventilate the affairs of the Borough, say each candidate to occupy to minutes, and I think by this means that a profitable evening could be spent, and the ratepayers would then be able to judge of the fitness, more especially of the new blood offering. Perhaps our worthy Mayor would take the matter in hand ? Thanking you for the use of your columns. I am, &c., Ratepayer. Foxton, April ax, 1903.
