Sir George Turner.
Sir George Turner, the Commonwealth Treasurer, was accidentally pushed into the harbour on Saturday while boarding a ferry boat. He was struck by a plank thrown by a deck hand. • When rescued he was found to bo suffering from bruises and shock. The doctor stated on Sunday that at least one of his ribs is broken. The injuries received, though not serious, are very painful. Sir George Turner had just handed Lady Turner on board when the accident happened.
