The Coming Exhibition.

A feature of the Feilding Industrial Exhibition will be the hr isk side-shows, the conduct of which will be in thorough oD , rge tic and capable hands.. p or the small sum of 3d, the visitor will be ushered into mi'ything he desires from a chair. o9r qI horrors, a ten minutes’ * r .agedy, or to a side-splitting but-ton-bursting burlesque. Then there will ,be shooting galleries, sheepguessing, weight-lifting, wrestling horse-shoeing, and other competitions, Punch and Judy shows, art gallery, and attraction* too numerous to mention, so that a thousand object of interests will greet the visitor at each turn. The arrangements of the Musicial and Amusements’ Committee are, however, not .yet completed in this connection, but several novel and startling wtmders are to be introduced. The Executive recognises the value of having bright and attractive side ■shows, and to keep the interests of the public from flagging, so that no effort will be spared to avoid the latter. There will, of course, be other attractions apart from the Exhibition itself, such as the buttermaking exhibit, and the large number of musical and elocutionary centesta. As excursion fares have been arranged from Wanganui, Dannevirke, Masterton, Wellington, . Foxton and all intermediate stations, the opportunity of attending the Exhibition should not be neglected by those who wish to become acquainted with the latest developments in the colony’s industries as well as see a host of miscellaneous curios, relic*, etc., forming no inconsiderable portion ef the very extensive variety of exhibits.
