Britain’s Army.
The House of Commons ia dig* cussing the Army Estimates. Mr Brodrick, Secretary for War, moved a vote providing for 236,761 men, which allowed for an expenditionary force numbering 120,000. He said the present reserve of 60,000 men would bo increased to 100,000 within ■ two years,enabling a redaction ef men with the colours to be made. The House passed those estimates by 254 votes to 164.
