France and England.
“A STRIKING DISPLAY OF CORDIALITY.” A speech extremely friendly towards England was delivered by M. Paul Cambon, the French Ambassador in London, at the Associated Chambers of Commerce dinner, and reproduced in the Paris papers, evoking a striking display of cordiality to Britain, and even a suggestion of an early entente cordiale between the two nations.
It is expected that King Edward will meet President Loubet at Paris when proceeding to the Riviera in April next.
