TAKE NOTICE.—The Supplementary Valuation for the Borough of Foxton for the years 1903 and 1904 is now open for inspection at the Borough Council Office during office hours. All objections thereto must be left at the office of the Clerk to the Stipendiary Magistrate’s Court, Foxton, on or before the 15th ' day of MARCH, addressed to the Assessment Court; and a copy of every such objection must be left at the Borough Council Office not less than ten days before the next sitting of the said Court. The following Special Order mak ing a Special Rate was passed at a Special Meeting of Foxton Borough Council, held on Dtbday of February, j 1903, and will be submitted for con- ! firmation at a Special Meeting of I the Council to be held on MONDAY, I the 9th day of March, 1903.—“1n pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Join ol three thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be by tho Foxton Borough Council under the provision of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, and Amendment of 1902, for' construction of certain Roads ,and Streets, said loan being for two successive years’ expenditure, the said Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence farthing in the & upon the rateable valuation of all Rateable property of the Borough of Foxton, Crown and Native Lands excepted, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly on the lirst day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years or until such loan is fully paid off.
