- It is calculated the net yield of the New Zealand loan will he under .£9l per £IOO. The Hon. W. P. Beeves, AgentGeneral for New .Zealand, states that the public have taken about 8 per cent, of the loan. He adds that the recent newspaper attack on Australian finances and the impending issue of a Transvaal loan prejudiced the price of the New Zealand loan. The London Standard _ also declares that the underwriters will have to pay the greater part of the New Zealand loan. » ■
