The following Special Order mak ing a Special Bate was passed at a Special Meeting of Foxton Borough Council, held on 9th of February, 1903, and will bo submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on MONDAY, the 9th day of March, 1903. —“ In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: —That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be raised by tho Foxton Borough Council upder the provision of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, and Amendment of 1902, for construction of certain Roads and Streets, said loan being for two successive years’ expenditure, the said Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence farthing in the £ upon, the rateable valuation of all Rateable property of' the Borough of Foxton, Crown and Native Lands excepted, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the ourrency of such loan, and to be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years or until such loan is fully paid ° ff ’ ALF.
