Wellington Wool Gales.
Messrs Levin and Co. report that at the fourth wool sale of the season today 2XOO bales were offered by the various brokers. The fall of - prices at the end of the London-January sales, and the uneasy feeling existing since in the trade as to future prospects affected the sale to-day, and prices showed a decline of £d to fd on our January sale. We quote Superior ■fine crossbred, none offering; medium, crossbred and Romney,; 4fd to 3d; coarse crossbred and Lincoln, 4id-to s d; lambs’ wool, 4*d to sd; log-stained and inferior, 3d to 4d; pieces and bellies, ad to 3d; locks, jd to ad. ' ;
