The following Special Order ing a Special Rate was passed at a | Special Meeting of Poxton Borough Council, hold on 9th day of February, 1903, and will bo submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on MONDAY, the 9th day of March, 1908.—“ In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolved as follows;—That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be raised by tbo Foxton Borough Council under the provision of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, and Amendment of 1902, for construction of certain Roads and Streets, said loan being for two successive ! years’ expenditure, the said Foxton ! Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence farthing in the £ upon the rateable valuation of all Rateable property of the Borough of Foxton, Crown and Native Lands excepted, and that such special rate shall be an annual receiving rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years or until such loan is fully paid off.
