Export of Rabbits.
A letter has been received at Melbourne by Mr H. A. Grayson, from Mr W. J. Warner, a wo’l-knowu London importer of Australian rabbits, urging the necessity of maintaining a rigid inspectipn of rabbits, i Mr Warner remarks—There is no Governmeafc.protection.ij3 land, and therefore the game is-very risky. I will only take goods, from jbhere now on consignment when they are packed:, by representative. Properly handled they are, taken all round, better and finer rabbits than the Victorian but I- am sorry to say most of thd‘'packers are ppt reliable.,
