Morocco advices state that fanatics visiting Fez repeatedly cursed lady missionaries passing in the streets. The missionaries’ departure for the coast was hastened owing to secret warnings they received of the danger they incurred by remaining. All tbs Fez missionaries are now safe at Tangier. Kaid Maclean (General Sir Harry Aubrey- de Maclean, K.C.M.G., Colonel of the Saiton’s bo lygiwd) has arrived at Fez, a i.i is organising the defence of the city. The bouse uf The Times corroipondent at Tangier, who was sheltering iti it a hundred and fifty women and children, was attacked by the Fahaia tribe. The tribesmen, however, were scattered by Tangier troops, under the correspondent’s g ndance, several of them being killed and wounded, and their village was burnt.
