The Dardanelles.
Sir Nicholas O’Oonor, British Ambassador at Constantinople, ordered one of the Khedivial Company’s steamers to pass through the Dardanelles without stopping, Owing to the Porte withholding the privilege, which had been accorded to other companies. An irade was then issued by the Sultan granting the privilege.
