HOLIDAY NOTICE
The following hours will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Office at Foxton
Christmas Day. —Thursday, Dec. 25th.—The Post and Telegraph Office will observe a close holiday. Mails usually closed at 8.30 a.m. will be made up at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 24th,
Mails usually closed at 2.30 p.m., and 8 p.m. will not be despatched. No delivery will be made by the letter-carrier.
Boxing Day. —Friday, December 26th.—The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. The Post Office will be open in all branches (except money-order and savings-bank), from 9 to 10 a.m. Norih mails usually closed at 8.30 a.m. will be made up at 7.30 a.m. Mails usually closed at 2.30 p.m. will be made up at 10 a.m. The letter-carrier will make one oomplete delivery commencing at 8 ft.m.
New Year’s Day, —Thursday, Ist January, 1903. —The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. The Post Office will observe a close holiday. Mails usually closed at 8.30 a.m. will be made up at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 31st inst.
Mails usually closed at 2.30 p.m. and 2.50 p.m. will not be despatched. The 8 p.m. mail will be closed as usual.
No delivery will be made by the letter-carrier.
