Leigh-Douglas Company.
Last night the above company appeared at the Public Hall to an appreciative audience. “Jane” is a breezy rollicking comedy, and complication after complication follows, until the risible faculties of the audience are severely taxed. We have received a letter from Mr McMinn of the Wairarapa, who is well-known in this district, and he writer,: " You can honestly recommend them to your readers. The pieces played here were highly appreciated.” To-night the company will play Bartley Campbell’s pathetic and romantic mining drama “ My Partner.”
