Children’s Sports.

The committee who are promoting the sports for the children on the 17th inst. met last night at Mr Laing’s Hotel, when the nominations, which included a large number, were considered, and the handicappers will now get to work and give such handicaps as will satisfy all competitoi =. 11 was mentioned that everything wai w.v in a fair way towards success, and that the children, to the smallest mite, has been provided for in the way of gifts. The ladies are also making efforts to provide refreshments on the ground, which will be appreciated by the children.
