January 16»b, 1903, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day’s races will be declared on Thursday, January 22nd, 1908, at 8 p.m. 1 Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.- A Hack means a horse that has never won an adverti ed race exceeding 40sovs (Hack and Hunter races excepted), and is not nom nated in any open race at the meeting, or that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs since Ist August, 1899.
