The French Strike.
In consequence of the laying up of vessels through the maritime strike, two thousand travellers, mostly proceeding to Algiers and Tunis, are stranded in Marseilles. Much distress exists in that city. The strikers at Marseilles have supplied crews for vessels to convey detained passengers. The crews of the tug boats have jomsd the strikers.
