Acceptances for fir.-t day’s races close on THURSDAY, January 15th, 1903, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), close -on THURSDAY. January Isih, 1903, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day’s races will be declared on Thursday, January 22nd, 1903, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m* Definition of a Hack.- A Hack means a horse that has never won an adverti-ed race exceeding 40 sovs (Hack and Hunter races excepted), and is not nonrnated in any open race at the meeting, or that has not at time of entry won a race ol the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value ol 200 sovs since Ist August, 1899. Horses eligible for Hack Hurdles are those which have never won an open flat or open hurdle race exceeding 40 sovs. Every entry must state the name, or as- 1 sumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age, pedigree and description of the horse, together with the colors of the rider.
