Two men in business in Wellingbon have hem arrested on a charge of keeping a common gaming house and managing a lottery. Some time ago the Federal postal restrictions on correspondence addressed to Adams or Tattersall, Tasmania, came into force. It is stated that almost all the “parcels” found in the office of the accused were small packages addressed to “ Adams (or to “ Tattersall”), Hobart, Tasmania. The police are said to have seized packages and documentary evidence from Which it would appear that those who addressed packages included well-known citizens. One of the men arrested is understood to be manager of the company and the other man his assistant.
