Cricket.
Owing to the unavoidable absence of the deputy-captain the match arranged to be played between sides to be picked up by him with thr captain, was adjourned to next Wednesday. A good number however rolled up and some very fair practice was indulged in. Everything to make a suitable pitch is being attended to, and it is hoped that before next Wednesday by members assisting after tea time, even if pnly for the space of half an hour, that the result will be attained and the pitch suitable for forthcoming games during the season.
