Foxton Athletic Club
A general meeting of members was held last night ai Whyte’s Hotel. Thera was a large attendance. The President (Mr P. H&nnessy), occupied the chair. The minutes of previous meetings were read and confirmed, after the cancellation of one item.
Resolved that tho trophies on hand not provided for in programme bo held over till next year. The following were appointed as a Ground Committee :—Messrs F. Martin, T. Curtis, W. Bullard, A. Shadbolt, P. Robinson and F. H ooker.
Mr E. Dunn was appointed bellman.
The secretary was instructed to make enquires re iron pegs for tapes. It was decided to hold a general meeting on Monday evening next at the Manawatu Hotel.
The meeting closed with the usual compliments to the chair and to Mr Haywood for use of room.
