Acceptances dose 0:1 ground. Competitors sir amateur events must be members-of the N Z-A.A.A.
Three competitors to start or no ist prize: four, or no and; five, or no 3rd. All competitors must be on their marks at the appointed time for each event, and anyone not answering the starter's call may be disqualified. The Committee may require any competitor to prove his identity fur* ther than by declaration should they think fit to do so, and will reserve the right to strike out any event should there not be sufficient entries to satisfy them.
Competitors leaving their mark be fore the pistol is fired will be put back one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back when required may be disqualified. Snap-cap no startAny competitor found jostling will be immediately disqualifiedAlt protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with n deposit of 10s, which will be forfeited should the pretest be eonsidered frivolous, and all protests against competitors entering under false or incorrect performance shall bo decided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later if tbo Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitor shall be allowad to sit on any protest, nor give any information unless asked for.
The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this programme.
- Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any person not running in the colors sent in will he fined as 6d, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not be to claim any prize.
Admission to Ground, Adults is; Children under 12, half priceRefreshment Booth on the ground. Special Trains from Podding and Palmerston North. Excursions on river for visitors.
