Three competitors to start or no Ist prize: foar, or no and ; five, or no 3rd. All competitors must he on (heir marks at the appointed lime for each event, and anyone not answering the starter’s call may be disqualified. The Committee may require any competitor to prove his identity furthei’ than by declaration should they think fit to do so, and will reserve the right to strike out any event should there not be sufficient entries to satisfy them.

All protests must b« made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a dspesil of 10s, which will he forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous, and all protests against competitors entering under false or incorrect performance shall be decidtd at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later if the Committee deem neoessary, and all prize money held over. No competitor shall be'allowed to sit on any protest, nor give any information unless asked for.

The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this’ programme. Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any person not running in tha colors sent in will be fined as fid, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not be entitled to claim any prize.

Admission to Ground, Adults is ; Children under 12, half price. Refreshment Booth on (he ground. Special Trains from Feilding and Palmerston North. Excursions on river for visitors.
