All competitors must bo on (heir marks at the appointed- time for each event, and anyone not answering the starter’s, call may be disqualified. ffeThe Committee may. require any competitor to prove his identity further than by declaration should” they think fit to do so, and will reserve the right to strike ©lit any event should there not be sufficient catries to satisfy them. Competitors leaving their mark before the pistol is fired will he put back one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back whe-n required may be disqualified. Snap cap no start. Any competitor found jostling will be immediately disqualified. All protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied, with a deposit of ros, which will be forfeited should (he protest ha considered frivolous, - and. all protests against competitors entering' under false ar incorrect performance shall be deeided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitor shall be allowed to sit on any protest, nor give any information unless asked for. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports frem day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this programme. Costumes to be approved'of by the Committee, and any person not running in the colors sent in will be fined 2s 6d, and any competitor- not making the required declaration' shall not be entitled to claim any prize.
