The Coal Strikers.
The Miners’ Federation at Southport has voted £IOOO towards the relief of the American strikers. 5
Seventy thousand in.the north of France, the Loire and Carmauae, constituting two-thirds of the French colliers, have struck for an increase of 10 per cent. Forty-three thousand troops are stationed in the Pennsylvania districts which are affected by the strike of coalminers.
It is reported that President Roosevelt intends, under the law of Domain, to nationalise the vast coal regions. ________
