PROPOSED NEW ROAD.
Mr Seifert also said that at present he was without a road to His property at Paika. It had been proposed to make a road which was estimated would cost £4OO from the Kari-Kari drain to a point by Elkins’ corner, which would come on to a metalled road.
It was agreed that Mr Seifert when in Wellington should wait on Mr Foster, and ascertain if the ‘Board would be agreeable to the construction of the new road through the estate! in place of the track at present used. A vote of thanks to Mr Hennessy for presiding was carried, and the meeting concluded.
