Mr E. Osborne’s Sale.

We remind our readers that on Thursday afternoon Mr Mounaey will hold an unreserved sale of drapery for Mr Edmund Osborne at the “ Centre of Commerce," .

This auction is a very legitimate one, there are facta to back up till statements. Lately Mr Osborne has made arrangements to lease-,the premises he has occupied for so many years to one who is also a draper. Mr Osborne removes his “ web ” to the premises he has lately purchased, opposite the Court House, having that faith in himself and his aaaia- - tants that they can do as "good a business wherever they may be, having so long instilled into thepublic mind that “you buy cheaper at Osborne’s," Anyhow the fact is that he has to commence removing his stock, and he imagined it would be an excellent plan to get the public to help him ; thus this auction at which, to be fair arid loyal to' buyers, he undertakes that every lot put up for sale shall go at whatever price may he bid for.it. It looks as though this sale will be an interesting and exciting, one, everybody bidding and all wishing that no one but himself would bid. Probably special arrangement has been made with the bank for the deposit of bullion after the usual, hours, or else a squad of the. volunteers will be induced to patrol ,tho< premises of a night. , A’ closelypacked “ house ” may be, expected, and afternoon tea will be moafcre# freshing. •_*
