.pOXTON BO HOUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE. The Council of the Borough of Foxton hereby makes (by Special Order) the following By-law under and by virtue of the provisions of “ The Municipal Corpoi’ation Act, 1900,” the “ Public Health Act, 1900,” and the various Acts amending the same, and all other Acts and powers whatsoever enabling it in that behalf, such By-law to come into force on the first day of January, 1903. A Special Meeting of the above Council will be held on MONDAY, 29th September, to confirm this Special Order. ‘ ( Purport of By-law is as follows:— ; To prevent nuisances in, and injury to streets To regsilate the erection of buildings To regulate trees, Ac., overhanging streets To regulate erection of furnaces, fire places and chimneys To regulate traffic of bicycles, . vehicles and horses To regulate heavy traffic and width of tires -To regulate issue of various licenses To regulate the removal of nightaoil To regulate the conduct of public buildings To regulate the straying of cattle, &c., in streets To provide for safety of plants, I C., in Cemetery, Deserves, ■ &c. ‘ and To provide generally for the welfare and good government of the Borough. .
