Three competitors to start or no Ist prize: four, or no 2nd ; five,or no 3rd. All competitors must be on their marks at the appointed time for each event, and anyone not answering the starter’s call may be disqualified. The Committee may require any competitor to prove his identity further than by d; claralion should they thii.l: fit to do ao, and will reserve the right to strike out any event should there not be ! sufficient entries to satisfy them. - Competitors leaving their mark fore the pistol is fired will be put back one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back when required may be disqualified! Snap-cap no start. Any competitor found jostling will be immediately disqualified, All protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which will he forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous, and all protests against competitors .entering under false or incorrect performance shall be decided at 3 o’clock in the evening, or later if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitor shall be allowed to sit on any protest, nor give any informa* tipn unless asked for. ~ The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove” unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this programme. Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any person not run* ning in the colors sent in will be fined 2S-6d, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not.be entitled to claim any prize.
