Foxton Racing Club.
A committee meeting of the above was held last night at the Club’s office. Present—Messrs Jenks- (in ohair). W. Robinson, O- Robinson, H. Thynne, W. Barber, J. Symons, P. Overend and the Secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read from J. H. Pollock, U. Shannon, and 0. Morse, applying for the handicapping, and Neylon & Sprigging offering to work totalisator on same terms as last season. ..The following resolutions were passed:— That Mr Henry’s services as handioapper be still retained. That Messrs Neylon & Sprigging’ offer to work totalisator be accepted. That the Secretary draw up a programme with total stakes of £985. Messrs W. Robinson, W. Barber and J. Symons were appointed a course committee. The Secretary was authorised to insert notice in Manawatu Hkhald reminding trainers that fees were now due. Dr Bennett and E, Dunn were eleeted membera of the Club. Small accounts ammounting to All 7b lid were passed for payment.
