The Coronation.
ILLUMINATIONS IN LONDON. The King is highly gratified at all the circumstances attending the Coronation, and at the excellence of the arrangements and the demeanour of the people. His Majesty has bestowed on the Archbishop of Canterbury the Kpy&T Victoria chain, an order which theKing has founded for bestowal on special accasions. The streets of London were thronged last evening to view the illuminations, The crowds were denser than on Peace night. All vehicular traffic wfas suspended. SPLENDID DONATION TO A HOSPITAL FU^JD. The King received from the Lord • Mayor of London (Sir J. C. Dimsdalel, Sir Savila Crdssley, and Viscount Dun-.. cannon the Coronation gift of £ 115,000 subscribed from all classes of the community. : • < . His Majesty immediately handad the amount to the Prince of Wales, and directed it to be used to augment, the London Hospital fund.
