Mr McHutcheson, chief clerk at the G.P.0., Christchurch, replaces Mr Stevens at Thames, Mr Stevens being promoted to Nelson. Mr J. J. Green who has been temporarily attached to the G.P.O. at Wellingten, becomes postmaster at Port Nelson ; A. D. Clemett, now stationed at Mongonui, becomes postmaster at Foxton, replacing Mr McDermott, transferred to Waimate, South Canterbury ; Mr PP. White, postmaster at Temuka, transferred to Marton; Mr G. G, Woon senior mail clerk at Wanganui, becomes chief clerk at Nelson, whilst Mr C. A. Seymour, senior operator at Nelson takes charge of the telegraph branch.
