Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Co., Ltd., report. We offered to-day 30 bales wool and 1000 skins. The effect of the fall in the London sales of crossbreds was apparent, and crutchings and pieces of which the wool catalogues was composed, showed a drop of one farthing. Whilst skins sold well prices were hardly up to recent quotations. We quote • Good crutchings, 2d to 2Jd ; medium, l|d to l|d y low. Id to IJd ; Merino skins, 4Jd to s }; fine crossbred, 4d to 4|d; good crossbred, 3Jd to 3fd; dead shins, 2d to 2Jd; lamb skins, 3d to 3|d. Wellington, 25th July, 1902.
