The Sale of Work, promoted by tbr ladies'of All Saints’ Sewing, Guild, was brought tosmosiweewp • - ful conclusion on Thursday erstiing. - The vendors succeeded in disposing Of almost’their whole stock. At the conclusion of business a short dance was enjoyed by many of those prf- ' sent. The Town Band again/ with the most ready kindness, supplied j the mnsio, assisted by Mrs W. Cook M and others.
Where so many helpers have been concerned it would be impossible to 1 mention all. All worked heartily for the comfort and pleasure of the patrons and all share in. the pleasure of success. To the heads of the Guild—Mrs A. S. Easton and Mrs
Whyte—the main responsibility fell; and these ladies’ names ate always a guarantee of capable management. Mr A. S. Easton, in charge* of the door, did bis usual modest hut invaluable work. The net profits of the Bale will not be far short of £4O * —a substantial contribution to the payment of the Vicarage debt. The issue o< iht mpftutai ioi Uu 3i
