The British Empire League ball at the Hotel Cecil in honour of the colonial officers was a great success. The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Sir Edmund and Lady Barton, and Mr and Mrs Seddon cache from the Prince of Wales’s reception at St. James’s Palace, and attended the all.
