Effects of the Drought.
At the annual meeting of the Sheep Breeders’ Association in Sydney, the president stated that in ' the past few years the sheep in this State declined from nearly seventy millions to iortyone millions' at the beginning of this year. Breeders would do well if they finished the year with twenty millions, including'the loss of the present season’s lambs. This would mean a loss this year of forty millions.
