A country teacher was giving his scholars an original lesson in geography the other day. He received correct replies to his questions as to the discoverer of New Zealand, and bis nationality, and proceeded to investigate the knowledge of his pupils regarding Tasmania. He was told that Tasmania was discovered by Tasman, but when he asked what country Tasman came from, his pupils were dumb. Failing to get an answer he had recourse to a leading question. “ What people send the best butter to England ?” he asked.'
