The Shanhon Races.
The races were held on Thursday and were well attended. Jtain set in early in the afternoon, which occasioned numerous spills and led to much scratching. The officials worked hard, and Mr Moyniban had everything at his command. Though the stakes were small there were large acceptances. Following are the results: — Maiden Plate, ot 5 soys.;, five furlongs. Louie, 1; Yuletide, 2; Midshipman, 3. Shorts Handicap, of 7 sovs.; five furlongs. Marionette. 1; Ronanui, 2; Moaata, 3. Shannon Handicap, of 20 sovs.; one mile and a quarter. Old Gun, 1; Lissa, 2 ; Rebcllioness, 3. Hurry Scurry, of 7 sovs.; five furlongs. Moaata, 1 ; Rebate, 2; Ronanui. 3- , ' ' . Flying Handicap, of 10 sovs.; six furlongs. Lady Cornelia, 1; Pedlar, District Race, of 5 sovs.; six furlongs. Yuletide, 1; Teddy, 2; De Wet, 3. Easter Handicap, ot 10 sovs.; seven furlongs. Old Gun, 1; Midshipman, 2; Moaata, 3.
