Death.
We have to record the death of a very old settler of Palmerston North, which occurred last night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Hams. The deceased, Samuel Davey, was well-known in the district, but Lis advanced age, 84 years, makes his death anything but unexpected. It has been decided to lay the deceased to rest at Palmerston, and the funeral will take place on Monday Jeaung for there by the morning train. Mr Andrew JonsOn is the undertaker.
