INCREASE OF PRICES. At the opening wool sale the joint catalogue ot Balm®, Buxton and Co., and Jacomb, Son and Co., comprised 10,206 bales. The wool was a good selection, and a large attendance from all Quarters. . There was a brisk general competition, Home buyers sacui ing the bulk of the offering. „ , . Compared with February rates, merinos were par to five per cent, higher ; crossbreds, seven to seven and a half per cent, higher, medium showL the greatest appreciation.
