S M. Court.
(Before A. Greeofieid, Esq., S.M.) THIS DAY. CRIMINAL, John Driscoll was charged with being drunk. Having pleaded guilty was fined 10s or 48 hours’ imprisonment with hard labour. G. Coley v. S. Mason. Mr Hankins appeared for Coley and Mr Eeade for Mason. Mr Hankins said he applied to withdraw the charge under certain circumstances. It appeared tint accused, who was in Coley’s employ, had'acted on behalf of a member of Coley’s family. It was hoped that the accused, having been locked up, would have had a caution and perhaps ho would be more careful in the future. Mr Eeade confirmed the application. The charge was allowed to be withdrawn by consent. Edward Coley v. George Coley. The defendant was accused of striking the complainant with his fist in the face. E. Coley applied for an adjournment. '1 he remand was granted to the 22nd March, CIVIL CASES. Meatyard v. Robert Henderson.— Claim £1 Is Id. Mr Hankins appeared for plaintiff. Judgment by default and costs 5s Ah Pat v. Muru Otea,-Claim £2 13s 7d. Judgment by consent, costs 12s and solicitor’s foe 6s. Henry Robinson v. Anderson & Mclntyre.—Claim £9 11s 5d (dishonored PN) Mr Eeade appeared for plaintiff Judgment was given against William Mclntyre for amount, coM-s 12s, and solicitor’s fee 15s fid. H Robinson v. E, Coley.—Claim £1 2s Judgment by default and costs 5s E J. Walsh v. John Nelson.— Claim £l. Mr Eeade for plaimiff. Judgment by default and costs 6s.
